Thanks, Obra and Baker City

On behalf of my team, I say a HUGE thank you to the OBRA officials, Ernie Young, and the town of Baker City for another great Elkhorn experience.

All the tripe I read about results or shortened stages or whatever is a bit disheartening. Having raced in two other states and 3 different racing organizations, I can unequivocally say OBRA is the finest I've ever been associated with. I'm used to waiting 3 weeks for a single crit's results...in short, we don't know how good we have it. They're the officials, we're the racers. They make the calls, we deal with them, plain and simple.

I commend and applaud the efforts of all those who put events like Elkhorn on for us to race. I will bring the whole team back next year, and the year after that.

>From the officials standing shivering on Mt. Dooley, to the volunteers standing for hours course marshalling, to anyone who lifted a finger so all of us could/can go play bike, I say THANK YOU and we APPRECIATE YOU.

Elkhorn 2009 was a great race, and an even greater experience.
