To the guy who helped me at PIR...

Last Monday at PIR, I suffered a crash on the bell lap in the 1/2/3 field.
I want to thank the person who stopped to helped me, along with my teammate,
roll back to OBRA truck and helped bandage me up. Unfortunately, I've
forgotten your name. You obviously know your stuff, and you were right on
about the cut between my fingers not needing stitches and the Boutonniere
deformity in my pinky from the impact with the fence. Because you keyed me
into the likely tendon injury, I could effectively communicate this to my
doctor the next day and get to a hand surgeon quickly to get it diagnosed
and splinted and on the healing path as fast as possible.

So thank you much for the help. You saved me an expensive and many hour
trip to the ER and calmed me down after the crash after I thought I broke my
finger. All of us know that bike racing can be a bit hazardous at times,
and I am very glad that there are people like you riding with us in the
field.

Sincerely,

Brian Ratliff
