Mt. Hood Cycling Classic

Good Afternoon NW Racers,

I wanted to give everyone an update regarding the Cascade Cycling Classic. We are looking at another tremendous event this year. We are currently full with one of the largest and strongest Pro-1 men's field in the history of the race and fast approaching full for the CAT 3 men's field. Do not wait to sign up because once it is full that is it. Registration for eveyone closes on July 18th. For 2009 we will start with the beautiful and challenging Cascade Lakes Road Race that winds through the Cascade Range and finishes at Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. This is followed by the Skyliner Time Trial Saturday morning and the downtown Bend criterium Saturday night. The race will wrap up Sunday on the Awbrey Butte Circuit. Site of the 2009 Elite Nationals the following week.

We have over $12,000 in cash for the amatuer races. Masters we have $6000 lined up for your race. We will run a 35+/45+ field but will split out scoring for both stage and GC with $3000 in cash up for grabs for each. We are also running a CAT 2 only race for those of you who are tired of always racing against the Pro -1's.
