I would go here:
Harmony Cleaners (next to the 7-11 on Harmony rd & Linwood ave in
Milwaukie).
Before I would ever go to mtn soles.
This guy has repaired many things for me, zippers, knee warmers.
I haven't had a repair done like what Brian is needing but the
turn-around time, quality of repair and price (of what I've needed) all
beat the aforementioned.

Soles. I've never used them, but I hear they do a good job:
