On course at Tabor

Yeah, and I try and watch out for non-race people on tabor. Since
fixed gears are first we seem to unofficially have the role of
letting folks know racers are starting to come through on the course.
The guy coming down the hill I recognized as a racer in the lower
road categories. I dont want to be a tattle-tale, cause I want lots
of people to keep racing. I know I have made some air headed
mistakes in my time, I just hope he knows what he did, feels at least
kind of bad and doesnt do it ever again.

You may loose your right to race if you (obra racer) are on the course
and it is not your race. Can't help you with the riders or boarders
that are not part of the event. It's a hazard.

As a small vent and public service announcement…

If you are gonna be on course at Tabor (or any race), please be
vigilante to see if a pack of racers if coming towards you. I cant
help but think I could have saved some skin had some guy on a road
bike not been bombing down on the inside line during the start of lap
2 of the fixed gear race. It caused a chain reaction that left me and
another kid on the ground scrambling in the after math. It could have
been avoided if you had slowed down or just taken the outside. I know
racing is somewhat inherently dangerous and and eventually I will go
down, but I think it is a bit disrespectful and moronic for someone
who races to get in the way of another category's race. When I leave
I do my best to stay out of the race's way when I am leaving the
park. So please, keep you head up and be respectful of those of us
racing.
