Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend for the High Desert
Omnium in Bend. Please take a moment to read the following
registration and race updates:

1. Registration will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hutch's
Bicycles westside location in Bend (725 NW Columbia St.). Take
advantage of pre-registration prices, plus fill up on any last-minute
items such as tubes and energy gel that you might need for the
weekend. Riders who register through Friday will be given a TT start
time near their category peers. Those who register for the TT on
Saturday will be added to the end of the start list in random category
order.

2. Day-of-race registration on Saturday is at Summit High School (2855
Clearwater Drive) starting at 7:30 a.m. Registration for your crit
closes 30 minutes before the start of your race. Registration for the
time trial on Saturday closes at 1:45 p.m. There is no TT registration
after 1:45 p.m. A TT start list for all pre-registered riders will be
posted on Friday night at www.highdesertomnium.com. For those who
register Saturday, your TT start time will be posted on-site after
1:45 p.m. at Summit High School.

3. Day-of-race registration on Sunday for the road race will be at
Edison Sno-park from 8:30 a.m. until 30 minutes before the start of
your race.

4. Important note for riders traveling to Bend on Saturday morning
via Highway 20 through Sisters. The Sisters Quilt Show is all day
Saturday. Expect major traffic delays and a detour so plan your
travel time accordingly. Information:
http://www.sistersoutdoorquiltshow.org/

5. The High Desert Omnium this year is being held in conjunction with
the Bend Summer Festival. This is a great family event with live
music, food and arts in downtown Bend.
Check out the schedule of activities at
http://www.c3events.com/events/Bend-Summer-Festival/

6. We will provide a feed zone with filled water bottles for Sunday's
road race but at this point we have no neutral volunteers. If you
would like to be fed from the feed zone, you'll need to provide your
own support. If you would like to volunteer to help with neutral
support in the feed zone, please contact
mgrandjacques@bendbroadband.net.

7. Please take a moment to thank our generous sponsors who really
stepped up this year to make the High Desert Omnium possible: Gecko
Solutions, Bryant Lovlien & Jarvis and Hutch's Bicycles. Thank you!

We also received generous prime prizes and other in-kind contributions
from Rebound Sports Performance Lab, Deschutes Brewery, Ray's Food
Place, Sock Guy, Rosell Financial Group, Strictly Organic Coffee,
American Licorice, Earth Logic Landscapes and Pine Mountain Sports.
