Rumors of the demise of Tour of Willamette were greatly exagerated.



It is on and better than ever.



Signed a big sponsor and all the expenses are paid.



A local Eugene civic group will be providing all the volunteers and vehciles.



Shimano and Mavic both will be doing neutral support and bringing extra

wheels and bikes.



Most of the pro teams are coming and Lance will be attending





They will be using the 'chip' system of timing so there will be no errors

or missed riders



The officials are all UCI appointed.



Outdoor Life and ESPN have signed on to film it



The Forest Service guarentees the conditions of all the roads. They will

repave and/or shovel all the courses prior to the event.
