Goodbye OBRA - I'm moving away

After racing here in Oregon since 1993, it is hard to say goodbye. I
am moving to Colorado in a couple weeks for a new job in Carbondale
(near Aspen). I would like to take this time to thank Candi Murray and
all of OBRA for all the amazing racing experiences - so many great
venues, promoters, volunteers, fellow racers and friends. It's been a
really awesome 16 years and I will certainly be sad to miss out on the
Cross Crusade this fall, which would have been my 15th season - wow,
time sure flies! I plan to continue racing and am looking forward to
living/riding in a new environment. Who knows, maybe I'll return for
CX nats in Bend.

On a related note, I am soliciting tips/advice regarding moving across
the country. Are there better companies to go with when considering
rental of moving vans and/or trailers? U-Haul, Budget, Penske, etc. I
am not sure whether I will tow a trailer w/ my Subaru (no hitch yet),
or tow my car w/ a larger truck. Would love to hear your
recommendations, pros/cons, etc. Please reply OFF LIST if you have any
helpful advice! Thanks.

Take care, and feel free to look me up if you'll ever be out in my
neck of the woods. Also, if you know of any other folks that live in
the area, I'm always looking to meet new people to ride with and learn
the good local routes.
