Robert Burney
I have no Rev-X stiffeners any longer. Sorry to disappoint.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] FS? Spinergy Rev X tubulars
I posted about a week ago looking for a freehub body for these in
preparation for selling. I got several responses from people wanting to buy
them but nobody brought me any money.
Here are the particulars:
I have a nice set of Spinergy Rev X tubulars I got from Chauncey that
are in pretty good shape except the freehub body is going out. It still
works but it's starting to make noise and I don't know how much longer it
will last. I took them out only on dry days
and used soft Kool Stop pads so the braking surface is still good. Maybe
you
have a broken wheel with a good freehub body. I'm done with these wheels
so maybe you can get a nice set of wheels or I can get a freehub body
and sell them.
The front wheel sn#237099 rear wheel sn#248866 Front hub is silver and rear
hub
is red. Ivan tells me he saw Chauncey's front Rev X wheel destroyed at
Columbia
Plateau when someone put a skewer in it. That may be why they are mismatched
but it never bothered me. Some of the decals are missing too so it
says "SPIN RGY" on the front in white letters and "SPIN G" and "SPI ERG" in
red letters on the rear.
There were a couple small nicks in the edge of the spokes I repaired with
epoxy.
They are about as true as any Rev X's I've seen which is to say not perfect
but passable.
I think these make awesome 'cross wheels. Russ painted his to resemble the
Crusade logo. Although I have used Rev X wheels for 'cross I have never use
this particular set off road. I can't speak to how Chauncey used them but
they are good shape overall except for the above mentioned disclaimers.
There are Tufo S22 Specials installed. The rear is still going strong and
the front has a long way to go.
There are no stiffeners but Robert Burney said he had some.
$250 cash. I see these go for $350 - $400 on eBay all the time.
They are hanging at the store. Just come by get them or I swear I'll put
them on craigslist.
