I am wondering if anyone passed this story onto any of the local news
stations, they eat stories like this up quick, lots of bad publicity for the
company and it shows how cyclists are not considered "vehicles" on the road
by many drivers. One of my employees had a pretty close scare this morning
coming down schols, he was decending at about 35 mph or so and was just about
put over the gaurd rail by a vehicle who thought he should pass on his left
and swerve to tell the rider to get in the ditch and stay out of the "car's"
lane. he was able to stay with the car, much to the driver's surprise, and
let him know kindly that what he did was not a smart thing and could've done
a lot more damage then he did. the driver didn't appoologize and told hi
where he could "stick" his bike. Be careful out there everyone.
