Hey all,

It must be pretty telling when I spend a large portion of each ride
thinking about my pedals. After years of using, maintaining and
rebuilding Eggbeaters I've gotten familiar enough with them that I'm
just not that happy with them anymore.

It seems that Time ATAC pedals are the other great pedal out there
for cyclocross.

What I'd like to know are any "secrets" that those of you long-time
users might have discovered. How are the various ATACs put together?
Bearings throughout? How about float? Accidental clip-outs? How about
the feel underfoot-- do they feel supportive and stable?

Are there any caveats to buying a used set of ATACs? Are there any
models-- past or present-- that I should avoid?
