id like to thank walker prettymen of the beaverton bicycle club for stopping after he noticed a bunch of us wrecked and helping to pick up our parts. that was awesome.Thanks for sacrificing your race to make sure we were all okay.

it seems that you scapegoating the situation. In recent years, such events as Cherry Blossom, Cascade, Cycle-Oregon, and MTB Oregon have only gained popularity. I do not see travel proximity or time of year having anything to do with the "downfall of summer XC racing." owl humping aside, CYCLOCROSS is the only real discipline that matters to a whole bunch of us in OBRA land! 'nuff said.
