Never raced a mountain bike in the mud on a 100+ degree day before. All I
can say is wow! The transition from talcum powder dust coating my sweat
slicked face and sticking in my lungs; to mud in my eyes and was just nuts.
Great race...one to be talking about for years to come I am sure! That
massive starting loop complete with the gravel pile that we haven't seen in
a while was a nice touch!!! Thanks Kris and Crew!!
