"unsupervised"?

the dog was probably herding. Instead of dumping a 4 year old dog from the only home its known, perhaps your parents should supervise the dog around small children. just a thought. i know this sounds harsh but that dog was probably just doing what hundreds of years of breeding was designed to do, which is control the animals its around.

it sounds like a great dog, just one that should be supervised around the grandkids and any other small erratic people.

my 2 cents

Subject: [OBRA Chat] OT: Australian Shepperd

My parents have a four year old purebred Australian Shepperd. This
weekend, my little nephew was playing with him unsupervised and got
nipped on the cheek. My parents are worried he might nip the
grandkids again, so they are trying to find a new home for him.

They say he's a good dog and very beautiful, but they don't trust him
around very small children.

So on the off chance anyone would like to look at him, let me know.

Thanks,
Erik
