Alright folks, its finally here!!! The Central Oregon Crit
Championships will be held tomorrow night, August 18, at Summit High
School in Bend.

Registration will be opening just after 5pm, with the course being set
well in advance for ample warm up.

Ladies - The race categories are based on mens racing categories. Per
OBRA ruling, women should race one category down when racing with
men... or something like that.

Cat 4/5 - 6:00 - 30 min + 5 laps

Cat 3 - 6:35 - 35 min + 5 laps

Cat 1/2 - 7:15 - 40 min + 5 laps
(5 laps should take just under 10 minutes)

Winner of each race will receive FREE entry to the entire 2011 Central
Oregon Crit Series (non transferable).
Multiple primes awarded during each race. Primes vary between
products, certificates and/or cash.

Hi folks. Some of you may know there were scheduling conflicts with
tomorrow nights course, but a solution has been reached...

This years Central Oregon Crit Championships will be held Wednesday,
August 18 at Summit High School

Championship Schedule:

Registration: 5pm

Cat 4/5 - 5:30 - 30 min + 5 laps
Cat 3 - 6:20 - 35 min + 5 laps
Cat 1/2 - 7:10 - 40 min + 5 laps

Women race a Category below their typical race Category.

Each race will have 3 Primes.

Winner of each race will receive FREE entry to next years C.O. Crit Series

Women/Juniors - 5:30 - 20 min + 3 laps ($5)
Cat 4/5 - 6:00 - 25 min + 3 laps ($10)
Cat 3 - 6:35 - 30 min + 3 laps ($10)
Cat 1/2 - 7:15 - 35 min + 3 laps ($10)*

Racers must ride in their category (Women/Juniors at 5:30 and Men racing
their appropriate category). There will be NO exceptions to this rule.

Registration will close 10 minutes before your race starts. Again, no
exceptions. So don't be late.

1st Place in each race will receive full entry to the 2010 Crit Series.

Numbers on Right Side.

Lapped riders will be pulled with 3 laps to go. Lapped riders must go
neutral when leaders are passing them.

Just a reminder, whether you are 1st or 40th you need to cross the finish
line with your hands on the bars with your number visible. Not much I can do

With the end of the Crit Series approaching, I've decided to change things
up a bit and give it a fancy name. Hence the Central Oregon Crit
Championships. I know its over a week out, but I wanted to give you a heads
up that categories and start times have been adjusted.

This information applies to the August 12 Crit ONLY.

Women/Juniors - 5:30 - 20 minutes + 3 laps
Cat 4/5 - 6:00 - 25 minutes + 3 laps
Cat 3 - 6:35 - 30 minutes + 3 laps
Cat 1/2 - 7:15 - 35 minutes + 3 laps

Don't expect a fancy jersey for winning, but you can expect a years worth of
pride and adoration. So if you think you have what it takes, we'll see you
August 12 for THE Central Oregon Crit Championships.
