Most times I go to a race by myself or with one or two other people. This is so easy compared to gathering together the whole village (family) before heading out. I think Geri is "right on" about doing all you (promoters) can to make it work for the families.

This is a wonderful thing. I do not see any schedules posted yet.
Promoters please think of this point. Most parents who will bring Juniors to these races will also bring younger siblings. Please... Please make the race times near each other but not on top of each other (hard to be two places at once). Please do not have the juniors race first up at 8 am and the little kids at noon. This is very hard on parents--usually someone does not get to race. The early start is also very hard on parents who have to travel a long distance to the race with juniors and youth racers.
Please have the junior and kid races mid-day so more juniors and kids can attend. This way early racing parents are willing to stay a while so their junior can race and later racing parents are willing to come a bit early so their junior can race.
