Race promotors should be able, should they choose, to make a profit from all their work without getting bad-mouthed. If you think a race is too expensive or it's not a "good deal" for the racers, don't enter. Simple. Where is it written that bicycle racing should be free? Where does it say a race organizers time is not worth any compensation? Just because a race is labled OBRA Championship ______ it's no less effort for the organizers.

Just be thankful that people take the time to do all this work to put on enough races so we racers can do what we love almost every weekend here in OBRA-Land. If they want to 'walk', after all the scoring, whining and clean-up is done, with a few hundered bucks in their pockets...they deserve that and thanks, too, from us racers.
