I saw a very nice poster at the Covered Bridge Ride yesterday for the Albany state champs crit. It's a downtown crit and so carries on the tradition started by the Gresham crit course, which was the state champs course before that. There will be food, a beer garden, and sales by local merchants. And it'll be on Saturday not Sunday, and so likely to be more spectators in the downtown area.. And as Rob has noted, there's been a lot of support from the city, too. That's a nice combination.
