Greetings,



I just wanted to send a reminder to the ATB racing community about protests

regarding race-related and results-related discrepancies. The following

information is available at http://www.obra.org/pdfs/obra%20rules.pdf

section 14.



1.) Protests related to order of finish must be lodged within 15 minutes of

results posting. No fee is required and official's ruling is final.

2.) Protests related to incidents on-course during the race must be lodged

in writing within 15 minutes of finishing and must be accompanied by a $10

fee paid to OBRA.

3.) Protests related to equipment or qualification of riders will be

resolved prior to start of event. No fee is required.



When you finish the race, check your results, but do so in an unobtrusive

manner so as not to disrupt timing activities. Check them again if an

"official" posting is done later. This often takes the form of a

computerized printout posted before awards.
