Way OT on this one:

I am in the process of purchasing my first domain name and building my first
website. I have experience with neither and was looking at GoDaddy.com as
the place to buy the domain name.

Does anyone have experience doing this? Anything I should be looking out for
or avoiding? Lastly, for someone creating their very first web page/ site,
where should I go to learn how to do this?

Please reply off list and all suggestions welcome.
