There was a bit of a problem with the SoBe points series and the BAR. The

BAR is going to track Pro/Semi/Pro and Expert together for one set of

points. This way there will be just one set of points for that class in

road and mtn. It does mean that we will resort the times for those combined

groups to come up with the combined finish. The SoBe Series will track each

group separately.

Thanks for all the work you do to promote cycling in Oregon.



Just wondered about mt. bike BAR points. I was bumped off of them as of

4/19/02. I finished 11th overall at the Mudslinger and 6th overall this

weekend in Bend. I am a senior expert rider. Do you need to do every race

to stay active in the BAR points? I missed the first race in Bend and

bailed out of the BIG K. I was tired of crashing!!



When you're slow and getting older you need every bit of motivation you

can get!!
