My guess is that this will be done in the same way that all stage races
are done. If your on the same lap, you will receive your actual time. If
your down a lap, you still finish on the same lap as the winner (like
all cross races), but you will get an adjusted time based on average lap
time (and a couple other factors). This would be your actual time + an
adjustment for the number of laps you were down.
This is just my best guess, not necessarily the way it will actually be
done. It will be up to Terri and Stacia (Chief Ref & Chief Judge) to
work over the detailed specifics.
