WebCyclery Thrilla Cross Series Starts Thursday Night!

The 6th Annual WebCyclery Thrilla Cyclocross Series will consist of four Thursday night races to be held across the street from Cascade Lakes Lodge in Bend, Oregon. Race nights are September 3rd, 10th, 17th and October 1st, 2009. Races are $12 each, or you can come into WebCyclery today and sign up to race the entire series for $40.

We're using the same course location as last year, but now we've expanded over the hill and into the Pit next door and have lengthened our course by almost half again as much! We've added a long descent followed by a climb back up out of "The Pit". This will help spread out the bigger fields we expect this year and give some more places to pass - or be passed! (PLEASE, no pre-riding in the Pit! You'll get to see more than enough of it on Thursday night!)

A big thank you to the good folks and cross race supporters at The Center and Jack Robinson & Sons for providing our bigger and better race course! We'll have trophies and prizes this year provided by Realm Cycles, Ryder Eyewear, and Cascade Lakes Lodge.

Please email MeanTodd@WebCyclery.com if you can lend a hand. This race is less than an hour long so we won't be able to work you too hard. Lots of positions will let you spectate, cheer, and volunteer - all at the same time.
