Pain on the Peak

The 2009 Pain on the Peak Team Competition is already heating up with barbs
and smack talk being shot across various electronic forms of communication!

Based off of pre-registration numbers, Pacific Power Blue Sky and Team
Oregon have moved out to an early lead, with Gentle Lovers, Showers Pass,
and Specialized River City close behind. Defending Champions Ironclad have
vowed to fight the good fight with a swiss-cheese-like roster and are
currently in a third place logjam a handful of other teams.

As a reminder here is how the scoring goes:

*Race Entry:* 5 points
*2nd or 3rd place:* 2 additional points
*1st place:* 3 add'l points
*DFL:* 3 add'l points (DNF != DFL)

Race entry points are awarded based off of the team affiliation in your race
entry. Make sure to write neatly!

The team prize this year is a private CX skills clinic from Upper Echelon
Fitness, and a custom 2009 Pain on the Peak Trophy complements of Tom Boring
at Second Chance Sculptures! In addition, the top performer for the top
team will win a special "Peak Performer" prize to be announced at the
conclusion of the team competition!
