Just got word from NWTA that the mtb trails near Scappoose have been re-opened for non-motorized use as a result of the recent rainfall. A quick reminder the area is not open after dark and obey rules posted on gate. Thanks all in the Portland area for their patience.

Longview Timberlands has removed "No Entry" signs so area is open. I took dogs out for hike this morning and hiked Skeet/elk flat area. Nice condition. I re-directed some blackberry growth in the clear-cut area. I do not know about other areas, but for sure the moisture helped dampen everything I hiked. Probably about as good as it gets right now. Be nice to others out there.
