Pain on the Peak

Folks,

We have an awesome event lined up for tomorrow with over $4000 in cash and
prizes! Saturday's weather calls for it being hot so make sure to bring
more water than you expect to need. If you plan on bringing a tent, it
does gets windy up there so make sure to have something to stake or weigh it
down with lest it turns into a kite!

Some last minute reminders:

1. This is a non-smoking venue. Fire danger up on Bald Peak is *very
real*. In addition, please leave your BBQ's at home this weekend.
2. Please keep the speed down on Whitmore Drive as a courtesy to the
neighbors living there (10MPH). The road was chip sealed this year so it is
no longer gravel.
3. Please pack out whatever trash you pack in.
4. Registration will open at 8am and closes 15 minutes before the start
of each event.
5. Bring your OBRA card as Kenji will be testing the super neat card
reader at the event.
6. Numbers for the CX season will be given out at the event. They always
go on your left side.
7. No beer on course (read: no hand ups). Enjoy it after your race from
the sidelines.

Course recon today showed a dry course, but not anywhere near as dusty as
last year. Should be a great race!
