I'm a cyclist and employee at River City Bicycles and I am looking for a roommate for my home in SE Portland. It is an excellent location in a great home. We have a room for rent in our home located at the corner of SE 34th and Clinton Street. It is an upstairs room, which is the only room on the second floor. The basement is unfurnished and has a lot of storage space, and it also serves as the garage. The location is conveniently located on one of SE Portland's major bicycle routes. In addition, the home is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants while maintaining a neighborhood feel.

Rent is $400 per month, and utilities average an extra $150 per month. We split ownership of utilities amongst each tenant. Yard care and general shared-space cleaning are responsibilities which we all look after. The home is a three bedroom/one bath and is currently occupied by two males, both of us are 32 years old.

The atmosphere of the home is generally laid-back, clean, and quiet. Both of us have full-time jobs and would prefer a roommate who is around our age and shares somewhat similar living standards. The room will be available October 1st.
