"Heiser Farms!!!, OMG I love that race!"

Heiser is a very fun (and tough) course. Good story for Yenne. Last year he flatted on the 2nd lap. I passed him. He limped around to the pit, solved his tire problem, then proceeded to catch and OMG...pass me for the win on the last lap. Being slow has drawbacks. But I had a blast on this fast challenging course. The pumpkin cannon left me in awe. Felt like I was 8 years old just trying to figure the whole thing out. And wow! What a splat when it hits the ground. Binoculars would be a great take along.

And I quote... " Heiser Farms!!!, Ohh my God, I love that race!" is what a glowing female racer told me this week when she found out that Heiser Farms is back this year. It was her first cross race ever and she is now afflicted with a severe case of cross addiction just like the rest of us.

Heiser Farms on October 3rd is the first stop of the 3 race Willamette Valley Cross Series that includes a stop at BattleCreek and culminates with the Oregon OBRA Cross Championships on Nov 7th in Salem. So if you want to experience one of the best cross courses of the season, watch a pumpkin get hurled 1200', pet a few goats, or try your hand at a corn maze then Heiser Farms is where its at.

So come check out what the "O.M.G." experience is all about on Oct 3rd. Details and registration at http://buylocalcycling.com.

Any more Hesier Farms Stories out there???

See you at the races,

Chad
