No personal experiecne myself with needing Lifeflight. But a co-workers son fell hit his head ( was on the counter robbing the cookie jar) thought he had significant brain injury, life flighted from South Beaverton to OHSU....$5000 for the flight. Our insurance is very good, example ambulance ride for this injury would have cost $0. Did our insurance cover this? Not a dime of it, very few insurance companies will cover you on this....something to think about for sure.
