As Anne mentioned in an email earlier today, This upcoming Saturday there is
a combined women's ride in Portland that'll have riders from numerous local
racing teams looking to add riders to their rosters. If you're a woman
looking to join a team in the Portland area, this is a great opportunity to
come out and ride and meet women from a variety of teams to see if you'd be
a good fit with any of them.

The ride will be meeting this Saturday at 9:30AM at Grand Central Bakery in
NW Portland (2249 NW York Portland, OR
97210).
Before the ride, each team will give a brief introduction to their team, and
Grand Central will be providing coffee and a light pastry before the ride
sets off. The ride will be 35 miles at an easy conversational pace, and I'd
encourage everyone to stick around after the ride and have lunch at Grand
Central and continue the conversation!

The following teams will be showing up: Bridgetown Velo, Gentle Lovers,
Sorella Forte, Specialized River City, Therapeutic Associates, and
Veloforma.

Also this Saturday, Hammer Velo is having their meet the team ride and an
afterparty following the ride. Their ride meets at 10AM at PACE 4829 NE
MLK, Portland(NW
corner of MLK and NE Wygant).
