Story about Riverview Cemetery

Well if people would listen and take charge of there own actions this would
not have happened, over 3 years ago I was the one involved with David Noble
and the issues going on in the cemetery....I don't blame them a bit for
putting the speed bumps in....I see people on a daily basis flying down
through the turns at a high rate of speed, cutting corners etc...I have
turned around and actually chased people or groups down that have run me off
the edge of the road and told them they need to slow down....And guess what
kind of reaction I get???? Mind your own business etc. etc...I ride the
through the cemetery everyday at some point and it's a huge problem....I am
sure at some point we will find signs saying NO Cyclists and again I would
not blame the cemetery, blame all the idiots out there that cannot follow
rules....
Just my 2 cents
Jeff

I think some of you have heard about the speed bumps recently
installed in Riverview Cemetery. I know a lot of OBRA folks use this
route to access the hills, Alpenrose, etc...

Here's a story I just published about the issue. http://bit.ly/4nHUSw

Please read it and share feedback. I think this is a great
opportunity for advocacy with the cemetery and could lead to a general
public meeting to air concerns and hopefully turn over a new leaf.
Access to the cemetery is very important and to lose it completely
would be very sad.... and it's too bad these bumps had to go in before
folks could get together and work toward a better solution for
everyone (several folks have already crashed on them pretty badly).

thanks,

--Jonathan
