Battle at Barlow will be this Sunday!
Pre-Registration ($20 for first event, $10 every other event; juniors $5 per race):
All Pre-registrations must be received by Saturday. Registration at Veloce Bicycles will end at 4pm Saturday.
Day of Registration is $25 for one race and $10 per event after. Juniors are $5/race.
Updated Schedule:
7:30 am – Registration opens
8:00 am – Course opens
8:30 am - The day gets started with the 10-15 year old junior race open to all juniors 10-15 racing age.
9:00 am - All Beginner men and unicycles
9:50 am - C men and clydesdales
10:45 am - Masters C men
11:50 am - Masters B, Juniors (12+), and 50+ men
~12:40 pm - Kiddie Cross
1:00 pm - B men and single speed
1:55 pm - Women B, Beginner women, Junior women (12+), women master A, women master B, women master 45+
2:50 pm - Men A, Master Men A, Women A
Special Notes about the Schedule:
Juniors 12+ are allowed to ride the later junior races (junior men at 11:50 and junior women at 1:55)
The Kiddie Cross event has been added and will be held immediately following the conclusion of the 11:50 race and before the start of the 1:00 pm race.
Course Condition
The Veloce team will be spending all day Saturday preparing the course and we don't expect any major issues at this time.
No alcohol of any kind is allowed on the high school grounds. If we see you with alcohol, you will be asked to leave. Also, please do not litter the course. Be respectful so we can continue to hold this race in future years.
Spectators
There are plenty of great viewing points at the race. My favorite is the stairs!

Food will be available from Madison's Grill and CycloSportif (the waffle guy).

DIRECTIONS TO SAM BARLOW HIGH SCHOOL
>From Portland and points north and west:
Take I-84 east (Banfield Expressway) out of town and go to Exit 17. The sign for the exit is "Troutdale". Turn right (south) as you exit. You will be on 257th Avenue which winds up the hill and in front of Mt. Hood Community College. Go about 3 1/2 miles on 257th until you reach Powell Valley Road. Turn left (East) on Powell Valley and go until you reach the Boring-Troutdale Road at the first stop sign -- that is about 2 miles. Make a right turn and then take the first left -- 0.2 miles --onto Lusted Road. You may see a small sign for Sam Barlow High School at this turn. Drive down and up hill for about 1.5 miles until you see Sam Barlow High School on your right. Drive to the stop sign turn right into the parking lot on the side of the school.
>From Oregon City and points south:
Take I-205 north to the Estacada Exit -- exit for State Route 212 and 224. Turn right as you exit the Interstate to get onto 212. After about 3 miles the road splits in a "Y", take the left fork to Damascus. Continue on Route 212 through Damascus to Boring (4 miles past Damascus). Leave Route 212 in Boring (by going straight ahead instead of taking the right turn to Sandy) and continue on 282 Avenue (the Boring-Troutdale Road) for the next 3 1/2 miles. You will see a turn to the right on Lusted Road -- and may see a small green sign to Sam Barlow High School. Take the right turn on Lusted Road and continue for 1 mile. You will see the school on your right. You may park in the large parking lots behind and at the side of the school on Lusted, or you may continue to the intersection with 302nd Ave and turn right into the parking lot on the side of the school
