I just got this from my building's management and thought it might be helpful to others heading to Alpenrose on Sunday. The map at the link below was helpful.

Portland Marathon will close streets and bridges on Sunday, October 4
The 39th annual Portland Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 4. This event requires multiple street closures, beginning in some cases as early as 6:30 a.m. Traffic will be impacted until 3:00 p.m. or later. Among the streets that will experience significant impacts throughout the day are SW Naito Parkway, SW Salmon, SW Broadway, NW Thurman, NW Wardway, NW St. Helens Road, N Willamette Boulevard, N Greeley, N Interstate, NW Lovejoy, and NW 9th Avenue. The Broadway Bridge will be closed to westbound traffic from 10:00 a.m. to noon, and the Morrison and Burnside bridges will be closed to westbound traffic between approximately 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. The St. Johns Bridge will have one lane open to traffic in each direction. The Marathon Course route is closed to all unauthorized vehicular and bicycle traffic.
