I added the Crossniacs to the team list.

If anyone else spots their team missing, ping me and I'll add it.

LOL. Will- that list had nothing to do with us. Matt thought it
would be a good idea to have a pulldown menu to make sure there was no
screwups with team names. (saves time for us... "our team didn't
receive BAR points"- and it turns out that it was a team misspelling
or the team wasn't written right etc..)

So that's the story. Being listed on the team BAR though is a totally
different story. There you have to pay the $35 per year that Candi
mentioned. (And a quick reminder- dues are going up next year unless
you volunteer, put on a race or do something... maybe all dressup as
donkeys at the next cross race)

You don't really need to register with OBRA. But it would be nice to support
the Organization. Dues are only $35 for the year.
Please note that the Cross Crusade is doing a team competition, and you MUST
have current OBRA dues for your team to be in the running.

Here is the text of the upcoming competition:

2009 Feudal states
Declaration of war
In accordance with the Geneva Conventions, the official
teams of the Cross Crusade have entered into a
State of War for domination of the realm.
Therefore be it known that the rules of engagement are
hereby put forth:
After the battles of the day are ended, the top 8 warriors across all
categories, from each OBRA Sanctioned team will be tallied and
assigned points.
The team with the lowest points for the series will be declared the
victor.
Teams with less than 8 warriors fielded in the battles of the day will be
awarded 100 points per absentee warrior up to the total of 8 warriors.
Warriors who place 100 or above in any category will be awarded 100
points.
For example, if your team's top placings are: 5 (cat Ma), 8 (cat Elite
W), 34 (cat B), 42 (cat C), 22 (Clydesdales), 15 (cat MM50+), 85 (cat
SS), and 102 (cat Beg) your team would be awarded 311 points.
The victorious team will be awarded the Cross Crusade Team Trophy
and will be granted the exclusive fiefdom of a Porta-Potty for the 2010
season (a priceless value and honor)

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Crossniacs not listed in Heiser registration

The Crossniacs are a USAC recognized team with syndicates in multiple states
yet their name is not on the Heiser Farms reg pull-down menu.

Are we required to pay team dues to OBRA to get our names on that list? What
about HUP United or Cyclocrossworld?

Please advise OBRA. I'd gladly pay to register the team.
