Blind date. thought!

You know Ron, if they included a 50+ category in the scoring between Seattle crossers and Portland Cursaders, we'd have an ideal place to race on the 10th. Since we've been excluded from the scoring..... Maybe next year the old guys will get some respect and will be included in the scoring - LOL

You guys are totally right about this. I even posted (on Crusade Chat) about the need for all you strong riders to go up and kick some cross butt. I fully support going north and capturing the Fort! But if they did have a race on that date at Alpenrose (maybe not this year) it might be a great way to end the series and all us slow riders would still have a place to race. Saturday night date.
This year conquer the Fort and win at Rainer.

There's not a hole really on the 10th, in fact we need to represent with strength up north because Seattle Cross is under the delusion that they are better than us.

Then on the 11th, we can beat them at Rainier so the Grail stays here.

I wonder if FieldKic ( and of course Alpenrose) might consider a weekend blind date. They might be able to start a little earlier. Might be easier for some folks not hustling around after work or needing to go the work the next day. Our mothers would not be telling us it is "Time to come in Ronnie. It is dark and dinner is ready." / "Aw mom. Just three more laps please?"
Just a thought. Might be fun if you could pull it off.

Great idea Ron. Too much work and kid commitments means I haven't been able
to "date" much this fall. Given the massive turnout cross season is likely
to see this year, it might work out to have multiple racing options on the
weekends.
