Not even going to get into the conversation regarding Cross "being or not being" bike racing. I figure anyone that wants to race cross does. Those who do not want to .... don't and that is just fine. BUT...........
I went by Alpenrose this afternoon and rode two laps on the course. Pretty bumpy, but fast. If we get rain it will soften up of course. I reset my cycle computer for the second lap and came up with 2.1 miles. That is probably pretty close... could always figure right at 2 mile course.
We may have to watch out for a horse on the course. #935. If he/she is racing, might be tough to get around. A true Clyde. Thanks Chip Ross!
