OK, two races into the 7 race series and we are ready for some series
updates:
We had 24 kids the first race, and 26 the second race. We have had 8, and 7
Junior women in the first two races. First Cross Crusade had 8 Junior
Women. You Go Girls! Way to Represent! Where are the Boys?
We have 5 two race winners so far:

The Girls 15-16 category is totally up for grabs with only one race finisher
in the two races so far. The Girls 10-12 could be a runaway if no one else
gives Haley Wilson a run for the Schwag (PS: you can count on Haley being at
all the races).
The Boys 15-16 seem to have the most open competition going so far with
Trevor Schauer (Specialized River City Bicycles)

tied for series lead.
It's early, 2 races down, 5 to go. Must participate in 4 to qualify for
series awards! Remember we have some great awards for this series. Redline
and Kona have really stepped up to support Juniors and Junior Cyclocross
racing in Oregon. We have every race day give a ways, Medals, and series
awards, plus four grand prize bikes/frames two for the girls, and two for
the boys.
