No seriously Tony and Joe, thank you...being able to ride cross mid week, couple that with the incredible weather we are having... sure beats my killing my self training up in the west side hills at night...

another blind date is upon us! the ridiculous mountain of extension cords and shop lights has grown even more, and we're hoping to sneak in a couple minor course changes to keep everybody guessing. it's been getting cold after dark, so don't forget appropriate clothing... like a nice warm panda suit. in fact, if you look enough like a panda to our panel of experts (and have a visible race number) you race for free. other bear suits (i'm talking to you, slingsby) may also be submitted but can be subject to discretion (in which a sliding scale of entry fee subsidy will be referenced) by said panel of experts.
okay, back on track. we can't wait for tonight! we'll be testing some new finish line lighting equipment so hopefully candi and mel won't have to spend all day thursday scoring us again. if you haven't tried the chili from madison's grill, you should because it TOTALLY RULES, and we'll once again have free stumptown coffee under the madison tent for us night time coffee drinkers. tori of gracie's wrench will be around to give a hand when you wreck your bike, and LIGHT ON! will be out with their amazing LED's. a couple reminders:
please don't bring alcohol!
please stay off the manicured fields and respect the neighbors!
please don't use flash photography after dark!
and a new one... please don't warm up on the course when a race is in progress! we designed our schedule around having a solid, safe event for the juniors, don't bugger it up by getting in their way.
thanks! and again, we are SO fortunate to have this venue, and oregon cycling owes a lot to alpenrose dairy. all they want in return is for us to be cool. like the fonz. see you tonight!
