In an effort to meet the demands of rabid racers and spectators, I made twice as much batter for Alpenrose as I've ever made before. It lasted until 2 pm. Wow. I will try to have enough to last through the last races at Rainier!

Many of you have seen and purchased the new CycloSportif kit - we are so psyched on the design. I'm guessing that you assumed that I did not order any in women's sizes. Well I did - jerseys, shorts and bibshorts, too. Even one long sleeve skinsuit (size women's small) for a lucky lady ready to rock it. I still have some Mad Alchemy embrocation, both mild and medium strength. Mild would be perfect for this weekend (unless you race early in the morning), but you'll want medium for a few weeks from now. Just remember to tell your friends that the tester on the table isn't lip balm!
