I have always bragged about the ease of getting in and out of my crank brothers candy pedals. 'Perfect for cross!' I'd exclaim. Yet since purchasing my lovely new Specialized mtb comp shoes, I can't seem to get clipped on the quick. I tried adding the little plastic shim under my cleat, but it hasn't helped. For some reason the egg beater part doesn't seem to roll over with these shoes as it did with my old shimanos. Has anyone else had trouble with this combo? Solutions? Techniques?
