Hi everyone, I've got some extras for sale:
1. pair of mavic reflex tubular rims. brand new. 32h. black. $100. retail for $70 each.

2. pair of vittoria XG 34 tubulars. 220tpi. these were glued once (Mastik) but don't appear to have ever been ridden-- at least not on pavement. nice tread design. removable valve cores. these get knocked for not being as supple as the high-end tubulars but they're cheap and durable! $50 for pair. retail for $50 each.

3. Pair of cross tubulars-- nothing fancy, but ready to go! the rims are hard anodized mavic Gel330, the precursor to the reflex. 32 hole. the rims don't have the taller machined sidewall like the reflex now has-- was never a problem for me. rear hub is ultegra, didn't check the model, but probably the 6500 or 6600 series. I ran 9 speed on it, but 10 speed should work too. front hub is a ringle (I know, kind of random) but it's a nice beefy light hub. both hubs are in great shape. the front tire is a challenge fango 34, which is a great tire, with only a couple of rides on it. the rear is a TUFO elite LPS 32, which also has its fans (i'm just not as familiar with them). both were glued up by me in the middle of last seaon and look to be in good shape (but no guarantees). both tires hold air very well and have removable cores so you can add sealant (which I have yet to do). wheels are true. i bought these used off an OBRA member, he had recently built them up wit
h lightly used hubs and new (?) rims. anyhow they haven't seen much use, have been well taken are of, and should be fairly bombproof, while still being reasonably lightweight.
$170 for the set. retail would be $350?
