Bike Safety Education community rides

The BTA needs volunteers to help with Bike Safety Education community
rides. We teach 4th and 5th graders in the Portland area to be safe
and have fun on bikes. On the last day of the class, we take the kids
on a ride around the neighborhood of their school. We need competent
adult cyclists to go along with the Bike Safety instructor, and the
classroom teacher to monitor intersections and help keep the kids
safe. Bring your bike, your helmet, and your enthusiasm. No training
required. These rides are really fun!

This Friday the 23rd, rides are scheduled at these schools:
Russell at 2700 NE 127th from 9:00 to 10:00, 10:05 to 11:05, and 11:10
to 12:10.
Vestal at 161 NE 82nd from 9:30 to 11:30 and 12:15 to 2:15.
Kelly at 9030 SE Cooper from 9:00 to 9:50, 10:00 to 10:50, and 12:45
to 1:35.
