RECALL: Schwalbe Ultremo R Bicycle Tires
SportsOneSource Media Posted: 10/20/2009
About 5,000 Schwalbe Ultremo R bicycle tires are being recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The tire layers could separate causing the inner tube to rupture, posing a fall hazard to consumers. No injuries have been reported.

The product was imported by Moser Enterprises, of Canada and manufactured by Ralf Bohle GmbH, of Germany and made in Indonesia.

The recall includes Schwalbe Ultremo R bicycle tires. “Schwalbe” and “Ultremo R” are printed on the sidewall of the tires. The items were sold at bicycle specialty stores and on the Web at www.schwalbetires.com from April 2009 through May 2009 for about $75.
