Crossers; young and mature,
Battlecreek Cross is the second race in Willamette Valley Cross Series.
Nice central location for many racers as it is in Salem. Easy to get to from North - South - East or West. Also rocking out with the OR Junior Cross Series! The kids get the course all to themselves for this race!
All you oldsters! They have a 60+ cat. for men. There were 5 of us at the first race at Heiser Farms. Come on down and race. I am pretty sure the 60+ cat riders can leave wheels, bike and or walker in the pit area.
The sand trap waits to greet riders of all ages.
Last year, even with windy conditions, I felt it was the course where road riders would do the best. They might call it a "Fast Course". Maybe they will leave the ditch crossing in this year?
