PORTLAND, Ore. – Want to learn more about riding with kids 'n' hauling
cargo? This is the event for you!

Oregon Manifest's Family Bicycle Transportation Day, with bike product demos
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, October 25; and the Solution Workshops from
4 to 7 p.m., promises to be an all-encompassing family cycling experience.
It all takes place at the Oregon Manifest Bike Union : 539 NW 10th at Hoyt
in Portland's Pearl District.

*Demo the Best Family Transportation Options*
A huge selection of family biking products will be available to try in a fun
at a single convenient location. Many easy and flexible options will be on
hand to sample, including bakfiet and cargo bikes, trail-a-bikes,
front-loading child seat options, bike trailers, tandems, electric-pedal
assist electric-assisted bikes, helpful accessories and more.

Information and resources will also be presented, covering safe routes to
school and work, tips on riding with children, and bicycle maintenance. In
addition, raffle prizes will be given away from MetroVino, Whole Foods
Market and more. Proceeds will benefit the Community Cycling Center Holiday
Bike Drive.

The Solutions Workshop takes place directly after the Demo. Participate in
lively discussions to share ideas for product innovation and improved
bicycle riding conditions with bicycle manufacturers, organizations and
community members. Ultimately, the workshop will create a manifest that
reflects the needs and ideas of Oregon’s cycling families. The workshop will
be open until full. *Please note: due to capacity constraints no children’s

Running from October 2 to November 8 in Portland, Oregon Manifest 09
