We had our biggest turn out of the series this week at Battlecreek in Salem.
29 Juniors enjoyed the great course put on by the Willamette Valley Cross
Series and BicycleAttorney.com.

Kolben Preble, Sam Rosenburg, and Haley Wilson continued their domination
each with their fourth straight win. Carina Hahn picked up her 3rd straight
win as did Timothy Jaynes. Dana Martel scored her first JCS win of the
series and has moved into a tie for the series lead.

Series standings will be posted later this week here:

I took a weekend off of racing and spent a little more time with the video
camera. My interview skills need help (lots of help), but I had a great time
getting to know the Juniors many of which were eager for a video interview.
Apologies up front. YouTube max video time is 10 min and many great
interviews just could not fit in. Maybe I will have to do a PART 2. Check
it out and meet some of Oregon's Juniors!

The next race, round 5, is the Nov 7th State Championships at the Salem
State Fair Grounds. See you all there!

Nice job John. You did a good job of getting the bios of those Juniors. They also demonstrated some good cross skills on the video as well. Thanks for giving us the chance to get to know some of these young Crossers. They can show their friends what they did this weekend!
I hope you had some fun making the video. We missed you at Hillsboro Crusade (that is ok... you get a 2-fer next weekend).
