A race not to miss, a ride you will never forget!
So far there are riders coming from Canada, California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington. Don't get left out of this event.
As you may know the Elkhorn Classic Stage Race being held in Baker City, Oregon June 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2002 is a 100% pay out race. That means 100% of the money left after the cost of the event goes back to you, the riders. BUT THERE IS MORE. The city of Baker has committed to a guaranteed prize list of $2,500! To make this perfectly clear: $1,000 cash minimum in the criterium, $2,500 guaranteed minimum for GC and individual race results, and a 100 % pay out race. Of course the final prize amounts will be posted and listed before the start of the event but it could be a very large prize pool. The citizens of Baker City really want to show off the beautiful surrounding country and their hospitality.
Custom etched glass trophies for top 3 GC finishers in each category.
Medals will not be awarded to the top 3 finishers of each stage as earlier stated. $ instead.
Envelopes must be postmarked by May 12th to take advantage of the best fee structure: $65.00 for an individual, $55.00 for a team of four or more sent in the same envelope.
Applications Postmarked May 13th and received by June 5th: $75.00 for an individual, and $65.00 for a team of four or more in the same envelope.
