OK this is partially off topic, but MapQuest and
Yahoo! Maps are failing me. It's time to invest in
some decent mapping software to save those killer long
training rides in far off places.
Can anyone recommend some mapping software?
I know a couple of people use Topo to map their
routes. (Those altitude profiles are cool.)
It seems like half the software out there is for RV
campers (I don't need to know the nearest hotel or
waypoint, thank you very much) or hikers (while I
enjoy a good topo I do want to know streets, too).
