It should be noted that the Lake Oswego Mother's Day
Criterium is also...
RACE #4 IN THE OREGON CUP.
There are still a number of riders congregated near
the top in both the Men's and Women's Cup. Race #4
will be the first Criterium in this true measure of
Oregon's top cyclists.
To highlight the importance of the Oregon Cup, the
Men's 1/2 race will go at HIGH NOON.
The Senior Women's Race will start at 3:15 P.M.
We expect fast racing, good weather, and an awesome
venue.

Course is a DOWNTOWN 4-corner rectangle
(counter-clockwise) with quick descents, a gradual
climb on front stretch, excellent pavement with some
stone pavers.
The course is as follows (start/finish on "A"
street):
"A" Street, 4th Street, Evergreen, 1st Street, "A"
Street...repeat!
Directions:
From I-5 (North or South), take the Terwilliger Blvd
(Lewis and Clark College) exit. Follow Terwilliger
Blvd to downtown Lake Oswego (about 5 miles). Turn
right on 43/Macadam. Head 4 blocks to "A" street
and
follow signs for parking.
From downtown Portland, take Macadam/43 straight
into
Lake Oswego (roughly 8 miles) and follow signs to
parking.
Registration:
Pre-registration: $17
Day of Race registration: $20
Registration ends 30 minutes before each race.
Day of race registration opens at 8:00 A.M.
Pre-register by sending a standard athlete's release
form to: Jonathan C. Puskas; 159 Fifth Street Lake
Oswego, OR 97034. Make checks payable to NW Velo
Cycling Team.
OBRA membership required. One day license available
for $5. Fee waived for out of state riders.
First-time Category 4/5 riders who purchase their
annual OBRA license on-site will have free race
entry.
