I wanted to say thanks to Lakeside Bicycles and Lake Oswego for setting
up a fun, but brutal race. And because I suffered like a dog in the odd
heat wave, I would also like to give thanks to the very helpful
gentleman in the crowd by the first corner. Who, on what seemed to be
every other lap like clockwork, advised us all in the 4/5 race to drink
our water. It was a nice bit of amusement to watch the riders in front
of me, as well as myself reach down and take a quick swig. I'm pretty
sure it helped me finish...
